Dense and expressive, this wine shows presence and depth, offering tobacco-accented cherry and floral flavors that keep glowing on the long finish. The fine tannins aren’t bothersome. Best from 2015 through 2019.— H.S.
We are releasing our great 2007 vintage this year
Cabernet Sauvignon, Pepper Bridge Vineyard on May 10th
Merlot, Seven Hills Vineyard July 14th at the winery
Cabernet Sauvignon, Seven Hills Vineyard, October 10, 2013
This vintage marked the 10th anniversary of this downtown Spokane, Wash., partnership that began and remains focused on two of Walla Walla’s top vineyards, and here’s a great example of foresight and patience with an Old World touch. Aromas feature Chukar Cherry, black currant, plums and dark chocolate with stylish herbal notes that include bell pepper. That dark fruit profile moves along to the palate where elegant tannins a brushed with baked brownies.
